If we do not take into account the devastating effect that nuclear fallout
would have on the region in this thought experiment, what would be the effects
on a hurricane's structure if a 10 megaton device were exploded at its center?
Would the force be enough to disrupt the winds? What would be the after
effects? A gentle storm or a more powerful system (after all, the explosion
would generate a vacuum momentarily)? Is 10 megatons too small or too large a
yield to achieve disruption? Thanks!
