Whe you cut up the beetroot, an dput the pieces in different pH solutions (such
as pH1, 2, 3, 7, 11, 12, and 13), the colour intensity changes, and the
question is how does pH affect the cell membrane, what bonds are broken and
created in the proteins? And also the beetroot turns yellow after staying in
pH 13 solution, why does that happen?
