I understand the photoelectric effect, but if such panels were powered by
electron emission, how do they last so long? Why doesn't the material
become completed ionised within a few months? And how we ensure that the
incoming light is always above the required threshold frequency. Which
materials are used for low energy work functions? Hope that's not too many
questions. Thanks!
