MadSci Network: Chemistry |
I am part of a teacher team reviewing STELLAR lessons. One lesson deals with the special nature of water in relation to living things. It is my understanding that hydrogen bonding between water molecules is responsible for most of it's unique properties. I am trying to find out if there is a link between the presence of hydrogen bonding and the high specific heat capacity of water.
Re: How is heat capacity of water related to hydrogen bonding?
