I asked this question because my BIO teacher was teaching us about fungi and it popped into my head. I asked, and he said he didn't really know, but he guessed it would be in the vegetables. One thing our class learned is that fungi are not plants...and that they belong to a totally different kingdom. And it is my understanding that the fruits and vegetables are from the plant kingdom. Fungi are from the fungi kingdom. But I'm also wondering if fungi could be in the meat group because beans, tofu and nuts are...and they aren't forms of meat. I have really no reason to ask this question except that I'm curious and my teacher doesn't know..and it feels good to know more stuff than my teacher. It's mainly curiousity. If you can answer this Q, thx alot. If you can't thx anyways.
