Hi there,
I read about why moths are attracted to light at night and wonder if similar
theories could be applied to plankton.
Regarding fish - I believe fish move into the light to feed on the plankton,
but this obviously exposes them to predation by larger fish, does their desire
to capture prey outweigh their fear of being predated on?
We are doing research for a documentary underwater at night and this question
has our scientist collegues and ourselves completely stumped.

Thank you Lucy Trippett.
