I would really appreciate any help, while reading to the protocol for the 
extraction of DNA for raw wheat germ initially you must place it in tris 
buffered salt solution at 60 degrees I know why the temp is 60 but I dont know 
why you use the Tris solution? thank you for your time,suzi
