I am a science teacher (K-8 grades) and my 3rd graders learn about crayfish!
We have a class crayfish that is approximately 9-15 months old and we
think "she" has laid eggs. She has not been in a cage with a male crayfish
since May 2003! We are interested in knowing if these are eggs she has laid?
(This is the first time since we have had her - got her 3/2003 - that we have
seen eggs) and wonder if there is any possible way these eggs will be able to
develop and hatch? Thank you for your time? Sherri Kohr
