Hello,
The floor in my dorm room is carpeted and, I believe as a result, there is a
lot of static electricity present. Whenever I touch the bed frame, which is
metal, i get shocked. Moreover, my desk also has metal parts and i am
constantly being shocked. I have electrical appliances in my room, laptop
computer, tv, dvd player, etc. and i do not want them to be damage by the
static electricity. Please tell me how i can reduce or get rid of the static
electricity.

   Thank You
