I am doing a project on bread mould and I an designing a household indicator to dectect early presence of bread mould before they are visible to the eyes. Since bread produces mycotoxins (as a by-product) during germination, they can be harmful to the body if taken in. Therefore, by dectecting the presence of mycotoxins I might be able to detect the presence of mold before it is visible to the eye. Hence, consumers would be able to safeguard their health. Is there a quick way to detect mycotoxins in this way? Thank you.
