I am looking to boil water with a co2 laser. I have done a lot of reseach that water is a good source for energy absorbtion. I have seen one of the previous postings that said that pointing a high-pwr laser at somthing would make it explode. I want to know why this was said as water I thought was known for its energy absorbing properties. Is it possible to bring water to a high boil to turn a turbine (somewhat like a enclosed turbocharger packs presure). thanks-- zach
