Subject: what happens when a solid and liquid of same densities are place in a jar

Dear Sir,
Good day to you. 
I would like to know 
1)how a solid and liquid of the same densities will behave if the solid is 
placed in the liquid in the container? Will the solid  be floating half-
submerged in the liquid???? 

2)What will happen if two liquids of the same densities are placed together in 
the container? Will they just randomly mix together???
