Hi.I read in text book about the furfural derivatives.I searched about the meaning 
of furfural but i do not get it.Why is the dehydration of hexoses give 
hydroxymethyl furfural and pentoses give furfural?What is the difference between 
hydroxymethyl furfural and furfural?
