Subject: How does the corona ion engine work? What are the involved principles?

The corona ion engine has been mentioned in the press as part of the Sky Station telecommunications project. A description of the project can be found at www.skystation.com. There is mention of the corona ion engine on this web page as part of the station keeping package for the Sky Station blimps. There is currently no detailed information to be located on the web describing how this engine works. I believe that it was developed by a Dr Albert Wong of UCLA.
