Subject: Differences with Micro and Macroevolution

Resently the Kansas board of education took out questions about 
macroevolution in our state's testing standards. I was wondering if you 
could clarify to me the differences between the two, and I was also 
wanting to know why scientist have taken on the world view of 
evolutionism, what specifice proof is there be hind the theory? I have 
little experiance with such so i was hoping to enlighten myself. Thank you
