What causes a person to 'have his breath knocked out'?
I'm the Goals 2000 Science consultant for 2 rural school districts in Ky.
One of the Nicholas county 7th graders asked me this... and I wasn't sure
what to tell him. I assume it has something to do with the solar plexus,
but I drew a blank when it came to the mechanism. Do you have any
suggestions?
